WISH LESS galleryでは、ハイクオリティなぬいぐるみチャームでファンを魅了するAKANE ISHIGAの個展を開催いたします。弊廊では7回目の新作展です。
AKANE ISHIGAは「連れて歩ける動物園」をテーマに、細部までこだわり抜いたぬいぐるみチャームを制作しています。作品には上質な天然素材を用い、1点ずつ手作りしています。既成の生地にないものは自身で染め上げ、さらに極小の小物パーツも自ら手がけるなど、彼女のこだわりは底知れません。こうして生み出されるぬいぐるみの表情はどれもあどけなく、私たちに語りかけてくるようです。
本展では、AKANE ISHIGAが厳選した遊び心いっぱいのぬいぐるみ達を一堂に集め、会場にて披露いたします。

Tiny Zooで暮らす小さな動物たちは、今度の週末はギャラリーに集まってワイワイ楽しく過ごすようです。
そんな動物たちと一緒に、ゆっくりとWeekendを楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。

AKANE ISHIGA
「二本足で立つ洋服を着た動物」を立体にしてみたいと思った事からぬいぐるみチャームの製作を始める。2014年よりWISH LESS galleryにて毎年個展を開催。ウェブショップ chovon SHOP での販売のほか、イベントへの参加もしている。2021年、自身のキャラクターのミニチュアフィギュア「Tiny Zoo」が発売され爆発的ヒットとなった。

WISH LESS gallery is excited to announce a solo exhibition by AKANE ISHIGA, whose high quality plush charms have attracted a huge following. This is the seventh exhibition of new works at our gallery.
AKANE ISHIGA creates plush charms with a meticulous attention to detail under the theme of ‘a zoo you can walk around with’. The pieces are all handmade one by one using high quality natural materials. Her creative process is boundless, as she dyes what is not available in ready-made fabrics herself, and also produces the small accessories and parts. The expressions of the stuffed toys she creates in this way are all innocent and seem to speak to us.
In this exhibition, we will be showing the playful stuffed toys selected by AKANE ISHIGA.

Weekends are to look forward to, whether you have plans or not.
It’s great to go out all day, take a walk around the neighbourhood or just laze around at home!
The little animals that live at the Tiny Zoo are going to have a great time this coming weekend, getting together in the gallery.

［ PROFILE ］
AKANE ISHIGA started making plush charms after wanting to create a three-dimensional version of ‘a clothed animal standing on two legs’ Since 2014, she has held an annual solo exhibition at WISH LESS gallery. In 2021, her ‘Tiny Zoo’ characters were released as miniature capsule toys and became a massive hit.
