WISH LESS galleryでは、緻密な線画とユーモラスな世界観で人気沸騰のイラストレーター、Tact Sato の個展を開催いたします。
音楽や映画、おもちゃ、アートなど洋モノ和モノ問わず、何でもこよなく愛するTHEカルチャーファナティックであるTact Sato。本展では、90年代のティムバートン映画や、アクションフィギュア、チープなオモチャ、アメリカンコミック、SFビデオ、ヒップホップのビートテープなど趣味で集めてきたバラバラなモチーフを、新たにイラスト、リソグラフ、コラージュによって再構成した作品を展示・販売いたします。タイトルのWILD PANTS CLASSは、レスリー・マーチンソン版のバットマン（殴るとBAPと画面に表れる衝撃映画）のスタイルに敬意を払ってつけました。また、タイのインディーパンクバンドぽい感じのところも気に入っているとのことです。
Tact Satoの膨大な知識と抜群のセンスから創造される遊び心満載の作品群をぜひこの機会にご堪能ください。
PROFILE
Tact Sato
イラストレーター。東京造形大学卒。 雑誌、広告、フライヤー、CDジャケット等のイラストを中心に活動中。最近ではハンカチ専門店「HTOKYO」から新作ハンカチを発表。湘南T-SITEで開催される食のイベント「MARKETTA」のメインビジュアルを担当する。HOME MADE RADIO CLUB名義で知人店舗のBGMやビートを作成。zineやビデオの収集家でもある。

WISH LESS gallery is delighted to announce Tact Sato’s solo exhibition ‘WILD PANTS CLASS’.
Tact is an avid consumer of culture from all over the globe in the areas of music, films, art and toys etc.
In this exhibition, he will be showing new work consisting of a mix of original illustrations, risograph prints and collages with varied motifs inspired by the 90’s films of Tim Burton, action figures, cheap toys, American comics, SF videos and Hip Hop tapes from his collection.
He titled the exhibition ‘WILD PANTS CLASS’ to show his respect for the 1966 film ‘BATMAN’ directed by Leslie H. Martinson.
Also he liked that the title sounds like an imaginary Thai Indie punk band.

PROFILE
Tact Sato is a Japanese illustrator who graduated from the Tokyo Zokei University.
Mainly working in advertising, magazines and music. Recently he released a collection of handkerchieves in collaboration with the Japanese brand ‘HTOKYO’, and illustrated the main visuals for the food event ‘MARKETTA’ at Shonan T-SITE in Japan.
He produces background music for his friends shops as HOME MADE RADIO CLUB and has a massive collection of zines and videos.
