WISH LESS galleryでは、オオカミゴッコ、小川 哲、北林 みなみ、ティム・ブランの4名によるグループ展「PARADISE PARK」を開催いたします。
楽園をテーマに、絵画、立体、陶芸など多様なメディアで表現する作家らが織りなす、豊かな感性と創造のちからをぜひお楽しみください。
WISH LESSが敬愛するアーティストが集い、心に響くアートを讃えあう悠久のパラダイス・パーク。
この楽園を散策しながら、作品と対峙し、創作の喜びに浸り、日常の喧騒から抜け出しましょう。

オオカミゴッコ／ookamigocco
ookami＝wolf、gocco＝playful
大人の1人遊びとして、持ち歩けるぬいぐるみがコンセプト。
2004年より、身に付けられる動物の襟巻き状のぬいぐるみ…『巻ぐるみ』を制作。
2013年より国内外で展示・発表をしながら、韓国子ども服monmimiコラボの展開や絵本の制作も行う。

小川哲／Satoshi Ogawa
1972年島根県生まれ。セツ・モードセミナー卒業。現在は茨城県水戸市を拠点に活動。
水彩やコラージュの技法を用いて、シンプルなかたちやくりかえしの要素をとりいれた、シンボリックでリズミカルな作品を制作している。個展の開催を中心に活動しており、近年は陶器作品の制作にも取り組む。

北林 みなみ／Minami Kitabayashi
神奈川県出身。武蔵野美術大学 油絵学科卒業後、インドネシア国立芸術大学 ジョグジャカルタ校にてインドネシア政府奨学金 ダルマシスワ奨学生としてプログラム修了。
幼少期はタイ、シンガポールで暮らす。異国で経験した孤独感や疎外感を軸に、自身の内側に広がる風景を描き続けている。
国内外に渡る展示活動での作品発表を中心に、書籍の装丁や挿絵、絵本制作やワークショップに至るまで、幅広く絵に関わる活動を行っている。

ティム・ブラン／Tim Blann
1991年イギリス・ブライトン出身、現在はロンドン在住のイラストレーター／アーティスト。
歴史、音楽、子どもの絵から着想を得た印刷物や作品を時折制作。
神秘性とポジティブな感性をバランスよく描く。

WISH LESS gallery presents a group exhibition ‘PARADISE PARK’ featuring four artists: ookamigocco, Satoshi Ogawa, Minami Kitabayashi and Tim Blann.
We invite you to enjoy the rich sensibilities and creative power woven together by these artists, who express themselves through diverse media including painting, sculpture, and ceramics, all centred around the theme of paradise.
Paradise Park is a place of ever-lasting bliss and delight where our favourite artists gather to share their beautiful art.
Take a wander and forget about your worries as you feast your eyes on their work that is a celebration of the act of creation.
[ PROFILE ]
ookamigocco
ookami (wolf) + gocco (playful).
Creating portable plush toys for adults to enjoy solo play.
She has been producing wearable animal collar-shaped plush toys… “Makigurumi” since 2004.
Since 2013, exhibiting and presenting both domestically and internationally, while also collaborating with Korean children’s clothing brand “monmimi” and creating picture books.

Satoshi Ogawa
Born in Shimane Prefecture in 1972. Graduated from the Setsu Mode Seminar. Currently based in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
Using watercolour and collage techniques, he creates symbolic and rhythmic works incorporating simple forms and repetitive elements.
His practice centres on holding solo exhibitions, and in recent years he has also taken up creating ceramic works.

Minami Kitabayashi
Born in Kanagawa Prefecture. After graduating from Musashino Art University’s Department of Oil Painting, she completed a programme at the Yogyakarta campus of the Indonesian National University of Arts as a Darmasiswa scholarship recipient under the Indonesian government scholarship scheme.
Spent her childhood living in Thailand and Singapore. Centring on the loneliness and alienation experienced in foreign lands, she continues to depict the landscapes unfolding within her own inner world.
Her activities encompass a wide range of painting-related work, primarily presenting her art in exhibitions both domestically and internationally, alongside book design, illustrations, picture book creation, and workshops.

Tim Blann
illustrator / artist born 1991 in Brighton, UK, based currently in London. Producing occasional printed and exhibition works inspired by history, music and children’s art, balancing mystery with a sense of optimism.
